• FESTA DI SAN AMBROGLIO - Fiera di Milano and Basilica San Ambroglio, 7 December, big celebration for the city's patron saint, this is Milan's biggest feast day. Lasts 5 days.
• FESTA DEL NAVIGLIO - whole city, June 1st , summer fete, torchlight processions, dancing, music and crafts. Lasts 10 days.
• SAGRA DI SAN CHRISTOFORO - Naviglio district, evening celebrations on the canal barges.
• MILANO D'ESTATE - Parco Sempione, June-August, live summer entertainment.
• FESTA DEL CHOIDO - Cathedral, 1st week September, celebrates the nail from Christ's cross.
• MILAN JAZZ FESTIVAL - city, November, check with the tourist office for further details of who, where and when.
