ACCOMMODATION
We have combined all the best attributes of a budget hostel with a great camping location in the heart of Rome.

We have all budgets covered with these accommodation options:

MIXED/SHARED CABINS - TRIPLE - With or Without Airconditioning.

Dormitory style cabin with an ensuite. These are modern, comfortable sized rooms that sleep 3 people and come with their own shower and toilet, storage space, bedding, linen and electrical outlets.

PRIVATE CABINS - TWIN/TRIPLE/QUAD/FIVE - With or without Airconditioning.

Twin room with an ensuite. Modern, comfortable cabins  that sleep from 2-5 people and come with their own shower, toilet, storage space, bedding, linen and electrical outlets. Individuals can only book a private bed a s a twin.

Some rooms have air conditioning and heating available.

PRIVATE/SHARED HOUSE TENTS

If you book non ensuite accommodation, you are booking a bed in a pretty two person house tent which is equipped with very comfortable beds and is lockable.

Blankets, linen and pillows are included in the price. Towels can be hired at reception at an additional charge.

TENT PITCHES

Tent pitches are available for hire. You just pay for the pitch and then per person. Full bathroom facilities are available. Please email the campsite directly.

FACILITIES

SWIMMING POOL
What better way to cool off after a hot day walking round the sights than to take the plunge. We have two pools available with sunloungers where you can lie back with a cold one and recharge ready for the next day. Or soak those weary feet in the jacuzzis while watching a game on the bigscreen.The crew organise pool parties, bbqs and competitions throughout the summer. Open everyday until 10pm.

SUPERMARKET
This is easily accessible across the road from the front gate by the overhead walkway. You will find all the grocery items you need as well as fresh fruit and produce.

MONEY MATTERS
You can change travellers cheques and currency at reception, just ask the friendly staff for assistance or you can withdraw funds from the onsite ATM machine.

INTERNET
Located behind the reception building head here for all the information you need to get the most out of your stay. Book your excursions and tours, get maps, guides and tickets, or check up on news and events back home with our highspeed broadband connection. Free hostel internet booking service.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES
Large 8kg washing and drying machines ready to take the meanest load. Tokens are available from the info point.

LUGGAGE STORAGE
You can leave your luggage in the lockups if you’re leaving late and want to lie a bit longer by the pool.

24HR SECURITY
Don’t lose your campsite pass as you will need it to show the security guys you are actually staying here. Keep your valuables safe when you are not using them with the security boxes available from reception.

SHUTTLE SERVICE
Our shuttle bus (runs 1st May-31st Oct) for the Vatican departs from the main gate at 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00 and 19:00. The bus is free for arrivals from the Il Cipro station near the Vatican departing on the half hour of the times above and is €2 return during your stay.

Of all The Hostels in Rome our Sunset Hill Restaurant and Bar offers Travellers and Backpackers alike the best of Italian cuisine at affordable prices for the budget conscious.

Our Welcome Dinner offers you the chance to experience great Italian food at amazing prices. A choice of pizza or a yummy pasta dish and a small drink all for €7.50 or alternatively Roast Chicken Pieces with French fries and a small drink for €9.00.

SUNSET HILL BAR

Whether your having dinner or you want to relax and sink a few cold ones after a full day seeing and experiencing the delights of Rome, our Sunset Hill bar is the place to head to unwind.

Grab a pint, a cocktail or a bottle of wine, walk drinks in hand to the pool and soak up the last of the sun watching an amazing sunset.

Later on our bar really kicks off. The bar is famous on the backpacking circuit in Italy for its nightly themed parties. Some nights we have 500 backpackers going off!! Every night brings a different party with loads of giveaways!

Most of our guests start with the infamous “Giraffe” (3 Litres of ice cold Carlsberg Beer). That’s nearly a Gallon of beer for those from the States. Truly the cheapest way to get the party started at a fraction of the price!

Whether it’s enjoying a casual game of pool (billiards), lounging on the patio or dancing your arse off to our funky DJ till 2 in the morning you’re sure to relax and enjoy yourself.

The Bar is open for breakfast in the morning to soak up the previous nights over indulgences. Choose between a traditional Italian breakfast of a cappuccino and a brioche or a set menu western style breakfast.

The bar serves scrumptious bar snacks all day. Your choice from Pastas to salads.
